Burgen is a small romantic village at the bend of the Moselle-river. Due to it's sunny position, temperatures allow a mediterranean fauna and flora. Residents use of the power of the sun to make the famous Moselle-Wine. There also is a photo-voltaik-plant on top of a hill about 15 km away from Burgen.
You can book a balloon-ride from our campground. Float almost silently above the trees, hillsides, fields and vineyards. You will see the Moselle-Valley in a way that groundbound travelers never will.
